School exhibition in Bratislava
Another exhibition of the Glass and Light exhibition series dedicated to mark the school’s 160th anniversary of its existence was opened in Bratislava on Thursday 3 November 2016. The venue offered for the exhibition is the prestigious premises of the Ministry of Culture of Slovakia. The glass objects on display have been made by the school’s students, current teachers and graduates. Included are the works of legendary glass artists such as Jiří Šuhájek, Ladislav Oliva or Štěpán Pala and Palo Macho. The exhibition was opened by Miss Livia Klausova, the ambassadress of the Czech Republic in Slovakia and was largely attended by the current students and teachers of our school as well as many significant guests. It will last until 30 November 2016.
