A Lecture at the meeting of Bundesverband der Jungglaser und Fensterbauer E.V. in Prague.

On April 27, 2012, during the 63th meeting of the German Association of Young Glaziers and Window Builders from Hadamar, held in Prague, a lecture on the history of glassmaking in the Kamenický Šenov region and on the new curricula at the Glass School Kamenický Šenov – Restoration of Lighting Assemblies and Glass in Architecture - was given by Mrs. Helena Braunová, the director of the Glass Museum Kamenický Šenov, and by Mr. František Janák, the deputy headmaster of the SUPŠS Kamenický Šenov. The programme of the Association meeting included also visits and lectures, e.g. visiting the Rückl glassworks Nižbor. Among the themes of the lectures there were „Glazing and Glass Building“, „Surface Refining“, „Historical Mirror Tiling“ and „Surface Protection of Glass“. František Janák appealed the organizers of the meeting for cooperation with the glass school Kamenický Šenov and invited them to organize the next external meeting of their association in Kamenický Šenov.
