Opening of an Exhibition.
We are bringing several snaps from the festive opening of the exhibition of Frantisek Janak. The opening was held in the Glass Museum Kamenicky Senov on March 24, 2011 and will be opened to May 4, 2011. The exhibition was opened by Mrs. Helena Braunova, the director of the museum and by the introductory word of Mrs. Dana Karasova, a curator of the Museum of Applied Arts Prague. The musical accompaniment was provided by the „Duo Heligonos“ group involving Frantisek Janak and Arno Cancik. Within the opening, a speech was made by Mr. Georg Linden, a representative of the partner school Berufskoleg from Rheinbach, Germany, who donated SUPŠS Kamenický Šenov a memorial glass plate on the occasion of the fifteenth anniversary of the cooperation of both of the schools. Among the important guests at the exhibition opening, there was also a senator Mr. Karel Kapoun.
