SUPŠS First Year Students Successful in the 20th International Festival of Children´s Art Creativity in Goleniow, Poland.
Marie Jindrová, Denisa Chroustová, Eva Losová, Kristina Malejovská, Hana Hubertová and Lenka Dang Leonová, SUPŠS Kamenický Šenov first year students, were nominated for prizes in the International Festival of Children´s Art Creativity in Goleniow, Poland in the category of secondary schools and gymnasiums. The prizes have been awarded by the Cultural Centre Goleniow, under the auspices of the Polish UNESCO Committee. The works would be exhibited and then auctioned for the benefit of Polish children. This year´s works have been themed by „Inspiration by Chopin´s Music“ on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the famous Polish composer Frédérik Chopin. The students of our school, under guidance of MgA Ladislav Průcha, the head of the cutting department created glass reliefs influenced by listening to Chopin´s music. Our school was invited to the competition thanks to the entry into the network of the UNESCO associated schools.
