Stay of Foreign Students in Our School.
Our school is regularly visited by peoples interested in studies, from abroad. From March 8, 2010 a group of four foreign students from the USA, Canada and the Netherlands, interested in the mould melted glass technology as well as in glass cutting and painting spent 14 days in our glass school. Beside working at school, the foreign students were interested also in the local glass industry, glass museums and in Czech machines and tools for glass processing. The student group changed in our school for ten students from our partner school Rheinbach, who spent here three weeks in the framework of the Leonardo program. Another foreign student in our school is an artist from China, who returned to Kamenický Šenov after a year, when last year she had participated in a workshop organized for a group of Chinese students from the Tsinghua University in Beijing. Within the scope of the collaboration of our school and the university in Beijing, the headmaster František Janák has been invited to teach in Beijing in autumn 2010. The foreign activities of the SUPŠS Kamenický Šenov will continue in May with a group of A&M West Texas University, whose students visited us also in the last year and would come back, because they were very satisfied with their stay at our school.
