Success in the competition of students of glass art departments of secondary professional schools, higher art professional and art academies in Karlovy Vary 2010.
On April 10, 2010 already third year of the competition of students of glass art departments of secondary professional schools, higher art professional and art academies was held. The organizer of the event has been Imperial Karlovy Vary, Spa Resort Sanssouci. In the competition, also glass studios from Poland and Slovakia took part. It was opened in two categories – for students of secondary professional schools and for ones of higher professional schools and academies. A 4th year student of the engraving department of the SUPŠS Kamenický Šenov, Miss Marie Melničáková, won the 3rd place in the category of secondary schools, for her book distance block „Dog“. The work originated in 2009 under leading of the head of the engraving department Mr. MgA Ladislav Průcha. Besides, students Adéla Blažková, Nikol Hajduová, Matyáš Hruška, Lenka Němcová, Šárka Vačkářová and Michaela Trojanov participated in the competition with their works.
