Working short term stay of our partner school Rheinbach students

From February 18 - March 7, 2008 in our school we were hosting a group of 10 students from our partner school Rheinbach. They arrived with their teacher George Linden, changed after a week for Helfried Glössner for several days. The German students under the direction of Czech teachers created studies of drawings and clay models and learned manufacturing of moulds for mould melted glass. At work they were supported also by the American trainee Chad Holliday. The German students tried on the glass plate print as well.

The guesting students visited several neighbouring manufacturing plants and glass museums. They visited also the glass school at Nový Bor and spent a day visiting Prague. On weekends they made several trips in surroundings of Kamenický Šenov. They took part in a ninepins tournament organized for them by the club Čerstvý vzduch (Fresh Air) from Kamenický Šenov.
