Success of our School at the Student's Symposium!
From June 8 - 18, 2007 the International Symposium of Schools of Applied Arts was held in the Liberec District. A student of our School, the Department of Lighting Objects Design, Petr Kořínek won there two acknowledgements for his table lighting unit Gemini. He won the first prize for the best work in the Lighting Objects Design Workshop both in the basic competition and the first prize in the same Workshop by the company Preciosa Lustry a.s. Kamenický Šenov. In the Symposium also further students of the Glass School Kamenický Šenov, i.e. Pavla Bartáková, Eva Těšínská and Monika Pernecká took part. In the opening ceremony important guests, e.g. the Czech Republic Senat House President Mr. Přemysl Sobotka and the Deputy Culture Minister Mrs. Eva Bartoňová participated.
