Exhibition of Czech Glass "FROM RENAISSANCE TO PRESENT" - Finnland

The Museum of Applied Arts Prague organized an exhibition of the Czech glass in a glass museum at a Finnish town Riihimäki. The SUPŠS was invited to take part in. It presented itself with colour panels informing the public about the history of the School as well as about the coming 150^th anniversary of its foundation. In the exhibition our professor František Janák took part who gave a lecture at the University of Art and Design, department glass and ceramics in Helsinki. At the lecture he presented both his and the SUPŠS Kamenický Šenov students´ works. The lecture attracted a noticeable interest and professor Nakada expressed his wish to establish a co-operation with our School based on an exchange of students.
