From Oct. 23 to 29, 2007 the Dominik Bíman School, the godfather and founder of which is a Czech engraver and medallist Acad. Our School was represented by students Pavla Bartáková, Sára Hortenská, Jan Krejčík, Petr Korbel, Martin Novák, Monika Pernecká, Petra Schneiderová and Lukáš Tejkl. The transport to Rheinbach and back was provided by our teachers Josef Kříž and Rudolf Kment with two cars when the latter was responsible also for the oversight of the students during the week. In Rheinbach we were lovely welcomed and informed about the school and its workshops. On the first day we prepared small glass tablets for print in the engraving and cutting workshops. The later published catalogue including some works of our and German students and other participants in the event included also the above mentioned. In the afternoon teachers of the school showed us the technique of screenprinting of glass. In the following days our students prepared larger glass tablets for the vitrography printing with a free theme. We applied all available techniques, as engraving, sandblasting and flexi-drive cutting. The finished works were presented at the opening of the exhibition on Friday at 11,00 a.m. at the local town hall. Each of students got a certification of graduation of the school and the catalogue of the event. On Saturday we satisfied left for Czechland.
