Open Doors Day 2007
On Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007 our school organized an Open Doors Day. A long queue of cars in front of the school proved an unusual interest of visitors welcomed by videoprojection at the entrance. Visitors were allowed to visit all classrooms, workshops and studios. Also the school gallery and shop were opened. Interested persons could try "rough" talent exams in drawing and modelling. For everyone the cutting, engraving and painting workshops offered the opportunity to experience some of the glass processing techniques and create his/her first glass artifact.
Children proved a serious interest in the rough talent exams and workshops. A number of them enrolled directly for the school. The school was also visited by a great group of Fulbright Foundation scholars from various Czech towns who were delighted at the standard and quality of our students´ works.
